Orthopedic Trauma / Acute Care Surgeon - Kissimmee, FL, USA 

We are seeking a highly skilled and board-certified Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon / Acute Care Surgeon who brings clinical depth, composure under pressure, and a strong sense of ownership in patient care. This role is best suited for someone who thrives in complex environments and values precision, teamwork, and impact.

What you’ll do:

• Lead the management of complex trauma and emergency surgical cases
• Deliver timely, decisive care in high-acuity situations
• Partner closely with critical care, emergency medicine, and specialty teams
• Play an active role in advancing care standards and clinical outcomes

Core Requirements:

• MD or DO with formal training in General Surgery
• Board Certified or Board Eligible
• Fellowship training in Surgical Critical Care or Acute Care Surgery preferred
• Eligible for or holding an active Florida medical license highly preferred.
• ATLS certification
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex, high-risk cases with sound clinical judgment
• Clear, confident communication and leadership in multidisciplinary settings
• Willingness to take on a dynamic schedule, including nights and weekends

• Experience in a high-volume or Level II (or higher) trauma setting
• A track record of clinical excellence and consistency under pressure
• Engagement in quality improvement, trauma systems, or program development
• Interest in mentoring or contributing to a strong clinical culture
• Minimum 2 years post-fellowship experience in trauma or acute care surgery
